It has 2 engines PWC PW120A and the first operator was Air Atlantic (1986-1990). It has a seat configuration of Y37 (economic class). The last operator was Presidential Airways (2009-2011) and it is stored at  Luqa, Malta since 02/12/2015. Other operators were Time Air, Canadian Regional Airlines, Regional 1 Airlines and Freedom Air. 

The first flight was in 01/10/1993 with test registration N82896. It has 2 engines PW PT6A-67D. It is active and operating for Twin Jet as F-GLNF since 12/03/2004. Others operators were Air Antares ( 1994-1995), LAR European Airlines, Flandre Air and R-Lines.

The first flight was in 14/01/1977. It had 4 engines PW JT9D-7FW. It was scrapped at Maputo, Mozambique in 08/1999. The last registration was ZS-SPF operating for South African Airwys since 30/04/1998. Other operators were South African Airways, Luxair, Air Muritius, UTA, Namib Air and Air Namibia (1991-1998).

The L-1011-1 (FAA certification L-1011-385-1) was the first production model of the L-1011, designed for short- and medium-range flights. This variant served as the basis for subsequent variants. This type was purchased by Air Canada, ANA, Cathay Pacific, Eastern, and other operators with regional trunk routes requiring a widebody aircraft. Pacific Southwest Airlines purchased two L-1011-1 models with lower deck seating. This variant was also one of the few widebodies to have the option for a full-height built-in airstair. The L-1011-1 was first delivered to Eastern Air Lines on April 5, 1972. A total of 160 L-1011-1 TriStars were built before production ended in 1983, although the majority of these, 119 or 75% of the total, were completed during a four-year period from 1972 to 1975.
